Log Cabin Handwoven Scarf

Peacock + Nutmeg = A deep blue/tealcontrasted with a rich, spicy golden brown. We wove this in a classic  "Log Cabin" pattern.

 

• 100% Australian Merino Superwash Wool
  • This fiber combines both the softness of a fine wool and the carefree ease of a Super Wash.

• We wove this on a rigid-heddle loom.
  • A rigid-heddle loom is a simple wooden table-top loom that can weave a variety of yarns to create artisanal and luxurious fabric, apparel, and accessories.
• After weaving, we hand sew the edges with a hemstitch to prevent raveling.
• Finally, all scarves go through a process called wet-finishing. This allows the individual fibers to bloom and interock with each other, creating a soft and durable fabric.

 

• Dimensions: 83" L x 6.75" W with 6" fringe
• Care: Hand wash gently. Lay flat to dry.
